Join us Saturday, February 8th for our 19th Annual Walk the Fight & Run the Distance supporting the community outreach and wellness programs offered through the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute. You may notice some subtle changes this year as our presenting organization, the Parkinson Network of Arizona has formally dissolved and the Barrow Neurological Foundation is now the presenting organization.
The event will offer a two-block fun walk, a 4K (2.8-mile) walk, and a 5K (3.2-mile) timed run.

Resource Fair- Vendors from throughout the Valley will share information about programs, services, and products that will help you live your best life.
Pet Area- Visit the pet area where you and your dog can create nose art, play some games, and take a photo together. Do you think your pet has what it takes to win the pet contest? Don't forget to sign them up in the pet area...you and your pet can win a prize.
Kids Area- Kids can play games, win prizes, deck themselves in temporary tattoos and create a special memento from the walk.
Photo Booth- Put on the big gloves and take a photo to help commemorate the day- whether you are by yourself or in a group.
Poster Table- Show your pride or support for those living with Parkinson's by making a sign to hold high during the walk/run.
Team Fundraising Perks and Incentives- Teams raising over $2000 in donations you will have access to a dedicated seating area and tent during the walk. For teams raising over $2500 you will receive a treat for the team in addition.

Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 7:30am at Tempe Beach Park.
We accept cash, and credit cards on race day (checks are no longer accepted)
- Cost of registration on race day will be $50 for the run and $40 for the walk.
We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons.
Leashed pet friendly
No roller blades/skates, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.
