For over 25 years, Inn from the Cold has been helping vulnerable families find stability in times of crisis. As the largest organization in the Calgary region that is dedicated solely to families experiencing a housing crisis, we believe that a community where no child or family is homeless is possible.
To help bring our vision to life we provide three main programs: homelessness prevention and diversion, emergency family shelter, and supportive housing. Trauma-informed and housing-first principles guide everything we do and we strive to adapt our programs to meet the unique needs of each family we serve.

25 Years of Family Homelessness is Enough!
This year Inn from the Cold is celebrating its 25th anniversary - it's an important milestone, but it's one we wish we weren't having to celebrate. Because 25 years is enough!
Enough nights of parents struggling to find a safe space for their kids; enough choosing between food or shelter; enough feeling like this is an unsolvable problem in our city.
We have an ambitious vision of a community where no child or family is homeless and we want to see that achieved in our lifetime. Your donation will bring us closer to that reality.
