My Story…
This year, I turn 50. Yep 50. As a way to celebrate, I am going to run 50k while raising funds for Trellis Society. That way, though my pace slows as I age and my best running results are behind me, I can make the world a little kinder and a bit more hopeful for others down the road. I'm hoping you can help me do that, by giving generously as I run into this next decade. All funds raise will be matched, doubling your generosity as I choose to go the extra mile (actually an extra 5 miles) in the marathon. Many thanks!

Help Me Make a Difference with Trellis Society
This year, I’m proud to participate in the Calgary Marathon in support of Trellis Society, an organization dedicated to creating a community where everyone can flourish. Trellis walks alongside individuals, youth and families as they overcome challenges and grow in their own way.
Every dollar I raise will go directly toward helping people access the supports they need, whether it’s housing stability, parenting guidance, affordable therapy, or education and employment resources.
With your help, we can:
- Provide critical resources for families facing tough times.
- Empower young people with the skills and support they need to thrive.
- Build strong, connected communities where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
