My Story…

I will be attempting to run, walk and/or crawl across this years Calgary Half Marathon in order to help raise funds for pediatric cancer research. My friend Maureen MacDonald introduced me to this story of a family discovering their little girl was diagnosed with neuroblastoma 2 years ago this coming race day. Treatments for children are similar to adults but come with heavy risk and side effects to these little growing developing bodies. The story compelled me to join this mom's team and fundraise for her cause - to improve treatments for children facing cancer. If you would like to support me and the Strong Like Sloane team it would be so appreciated.
