Help Beverley raise money

Well, it's that time of year again!  I am walking in the 2025 Servus Calgary Marathon to raise funds for multiple myeloma research.  Myeloma is the 2nd most common blood cancer, yet most people have never heard of it.  It causes abnormal behaviour and uncontrolled growth of plasma cells, and approximately 11 people in Canada are diagnosed with myeloma every day.

My charity of choice is the Southern Alberta Myeloma Patient Society ("SAMPS").  SAMPS supports myeloma-specific research at the University of Calgary led by Dr. N. Bahlis, Dr. P. Neri and their fabulous lab team.  Without this research I have no doubt I would not be here to participate in this energizing and very important event.  SAMPS is also active in the advocacy arena in municipal, provincial and federal arenas, as well as providing educational programs for myeloma patients and social events which allow us to meet each other and share our experiences
