Canada's Longest Running Marathon turns 61!
For over six decades, the Servus Calgary Marathon has been at the forefront of running in this country, attracting runners from all over the world to discover our city while staying true to our western roots and loyal to our homegrown runners.

Participants will be able to choose between an in-person event on May 25, 2025 or the virtual race experience that runs from May 25 to June 22.
Choose your distance and run, walk or wheel the 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km, 42.2 km or the 1.2 km Kids Race!
All participants can fundraise for any of our 100+ charities through the Charity Challenge. There is also the option to join or create a team in one of 3 categories: Fundraising Team, Corporate Team and Youth Team.
Green Bib Option
New this year, we are introducing a Green Bib! This gives participants the option to participate in our race and forgo receiving a race shirt and finisher medal. If a participant chooses the Green Bib option, a $10 donation will be made to the Great Divide Trail Association, in lieu of a race shirt and medal.
Please note: The Green Bib Program does not apply to the Kids Race or Diaper Dash! All kids participating in these two events will receive both a shirt (or baby bib for Diaper Dash participants) AND medal.

2025 Pricing
GST & Processing Fees
Prices now include all processing fees. Base registration fees have not changed. Participants will be charged 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee listed.
All entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
- All registration fees are non-refundable with the exception of those that enrolled in the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program at the time of registration and their unforeseen circumstance is covered by their policy.
- During registration, there is the option to protect your purchase by enrolling in the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program for a small fee. Participants that enroll in the refund program will be refunded if they are unable to attend due to a variety of unforeseen circumstances, such as injury & illness, COVID-19, severe weather, work travel conflict, layoffs/termination or mechanical breakdown. - Like all insurance policies there are exclusions, so please read the fine print. The insurance does not cover your entry fee if we are forced to cancel the event.
- In the case of in-person race cancellation, all 2025 in-person participants registered in the Servus Calgary Marathon Race Weekend will automatically be transferred to the virtual event.
Transferring Distances or Transferring Your Bib to Another Person
- Distance Transfers and Participant Transfers are both allowed.
- Distance Transfers can be completed online before May 12, 2025. Transfers on/after May 12, 2025 can be completed in-person at the Solutions Desk within the Runner’s Expo. Please note, if certain distances have already sold out and reached capacity, it is not guaranteed that you will be able to switch distances.
- In the event that you can't participate in a race and you have not enrolled in the Refund Protection Program, you can transfer your registration to someone else.
- Participant Transfers can be completed online before May 12, 2025. Transfers on/after May 12, 2025 can be completed in-person at the Solutions Desk within the Runner’s Expo.
