AWARDS

Awards will be given for the Full Marathon, Mississippi River Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay. Delta Double Down participants are not eligible for any awards, Delta Double will receive a second Arkansas medal on top of their Mississippi medal for their accomplishment.

Course Record Bonus

Any male or female breaking their perspective course record in the marathon will receive a cash bonus of $500.

Male: Scott Downward - 2:28:21 (2014)

Female: Laura Paulsen - 2:41:16.8 (2021)

Please note: While there is no ban on listening devices, the event will continue to enforce a no headphones policy for those competing for prize money.

Awards

Awards will be given to the top Full Marathon and Half Marathon male and female finishers in the following divisions:

Top 5 Open (Overall)
Top 3 Masters (40+)
Top 3 Grand Masters (50+)

Awards will also be given to the top three full and half marathon male and female finishers in the following age groups:
15 and Under (half marathon only)
16 to 19
20 to 24
25 to 29
30 to 34
35 to 39
40 to 44
45 to 49
50 to 54
55 to 59
60 to 64
65 to 69
70+

*Awards categories with no entrants registered two weeks before race day may require us to order the awards post-race. Too many awards are going unclaimed year after year due to no registrants in those categories.
