RUN AND WALK RULES
START ASSEMBLY
All participants must be assembled in the Assembly Area 10 minutes prior to start times of race. Race numbers must be securely attached to the front of your top body cover and clearly dis-played at all times or you may be considered as having abandoned the race. All results and times will be processed as per your race number.
Runners assembling at the starting line and not at the assembly area, accepting lifts or entering the race at points other than the start area, will have their number taken, be disqualified and not recorded. There will be no appeal against any disqualification. Race numbers are to be collected at the start by 8.50 am.
ALL COMPETITORS: must obey the directions of route marshals at all times. Walkers, wheel chairs, prams and strollers may be used.
PARTICIPANTS RETIRING: from the race should go to the nearest refreshment station or to the Finish area and advise an official of their retirement.
THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE: reserves the right to alter any of these rules prior to the start of the race.
NO CYCLISTS OR ROLLER SKATERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER
JUNIORS: Juniors are those competitors who are under 16 years of age as at 4th May 2025
Maximum race time: 10:30 am is cut off time for ALL competitors

5 Km Fun Run Prizes
- First Adult Male and Female receive $100
- First Junior Boy and Girl receive $100
- First Family receive $100 (lowest total time of first 4 runners)
- First Corporate/Club/organisation Team receive $100
- First High School Team receive $100
- First Primary School Team receive $100
Spot Prizes
- will be drawn randomly and will include gift vouchers and other great prizes from local sponsors.
Spot prize winners must be in attendance.
Other participant information:
- All participants should ensure they remain hydrated - water will be available
- Presentations will commence at 10.00am sharp
- A shuttle bus will be available to return participants to the start between 10:15 and 11.00am
- Results and race times will be published during the week following the event.

All participants entering the Rotary River Run 2025 event using this online portal, in consideration of and as a condition of acceptance of their entry, hereby waive all and any claim, right or cause of action which they might otherwise have for or arising out of loss of life or injury, damage or loss of any description whatsoever which they may suffer or sustain in the course of or consequent upon their entry or participation in the said event.
All participants also agree to abide by the 2025 Rotary River Run & Walk Rules and accept the conditions of the event as stated in any material distributed in connection with the event.
