Utra Trail Jervis Bay Volunteer Details
Thanks so much for your interest in volunteering to help out with the first ever edition of Ultra Trail Jervis Bay. It's building up to be an amazing weekend. We can't wait to meet all of our amazing volunteers and showcase Jervis Bay to the Ultra Trail Running community. If you haven't been to a trail running event before, you are going to be blown away.
Volunteers are the soul of trail running events and the runners and their families truly appreciate all the help and support that they provide to keep everything moving!!
There are various opportunities during the event weekend – here is a brief description:
- Registration Tent (Friday afternoon - evening / Saturday morning) – helping runners check into the event, registering them into the system and handing out bibs.
- Bag Drop (Friday afternoon - evening / Saturday morning)
- Race Hub services (Friday / Saturday / Sunday morning)
- Merchandise sales (Friday / Saturday / Sunday morning)
- Green Squad – helping to keep the event hub clean (Friday / Saturday / Sunday morning)
- Marshalls – on course and at the Event hub – helping runners to go the right way!! (Saturday)
- Check Point support – keeping our check points stocked and helping runners get their nutrition and sustenance (Saturday / Saturday night).
- Check Point Captains – working at the check points and coordinating communication to the Race Hub, and our First Aid team
- Course Marshalls (Saturday / Saturday night).
- Course sweepers – running with the last runners – helping them through (Saturday / Saturday night).
- Course markings and set up / course clean up after the event.
