Are you interested in an inclusive, social and community-centred event?
Coffs Backyard Ultra welcomes all runners, even if this is your first running event!
Objective: Complete a 6.706km ‘lap’ within 1 hour
Repeat every hour until there is the last one left standing!
Coffs Backyard Ultra ‘lap’ is on Coffs Creek Walkway in the heart of Coffs Harbour.
The course is 80% shaded flat gravel paths and 20% picturesque boardwalks.
2025 Event Changes!
- The event is now an 'official' backyard ultra so all backyard ultra rules are strictly followed.
- There is a self-imposed cap of 500 participants.
- For the first 8 laps, the event utilises a modified course to reduce congestion
- We then revert from lap 9 to the standard course for the rest of the event.
- $1,000 cash prize for both last male and last female left standing thanks to The Battery Boys

- Fri, June 6, 2025 4:00 pm - Optional - bib collection, gear/marquee set up and free camping/caravanning
- Sat, June 7, 2025 6:30 am - Bib collection and event site opens for gear/marquee set up
- Sat, June 7, 2025 7:50 am - Event briefing
- Sat, June 7, 2025 8:00 am - First lap starts
- Sat, June 7, 2025 4:00 pm - Course change from modified to standard course
