The Breaking the Silence Maritimes-Guatemala Solidarity Network (BTS) is a volunteer group from the Maritimes that came together in 1988 to support Guatemalans in their fight for political, social, and economic justice.
As a community united by our commitment to solidarity, we engage in advocacy and lobbying, organize delegations, and send interns, volunteers, and human rights accompaniers. We also support fair trade coffee and work to raise awareness.
