My Story…
No one should face an eating disorder alone. Eating Disorders Nova Scotia (EDNS) makes sure that those impacted by eating disorders receive care and compassion during their time of need.
As a member of EDNS's Board of Directors, I see firsthand the quality and quantity of services that this organization is able to provide on a very tight budget. Every dollar goes towards the delivery of evidence-based services for eating disorder recovery.
1 in 3 Canadians are at risk of developing an eating disorder, according to the latest poll by Mental Health Research Canada. Despite their prevalence, eating disorders continue to be underfunded relative to other mental illnesses.
Join me in running (and donating!) to support the recovery of the 1 in 3 Canadians at risk of developing an eating disorder.
