What time should we arrive?
A: The course will be closed to vehicles by 5:30 am. If you plan to park on the waterfront, you need to arrive before then. We recommend parking in any of the parking garages or lots off Riverside Drive to avoid being trapped until the course reopens. Ensure you arrive at the race at least 30 minutes before the start time to allow enough time to get settled.What hotels can I stay at if I am from out of town?
A: There are numerous hotels along the race course that are a five-minute walk or less from the start line. You can refer to the "Digital Engagement Kit" section of this registration page to see the list of recommended hotels and their locations to help you make your decision.What time does each race start?
A: The Kids Dash (1km) will start at 6:45 am, the 5km will start at 7:00 am, and the Half Marathon will start at 8:15 am.Will there be washrooms?
A: Yes, there will be washrooms at Festival Plaza, which is the start and finish area, as well as along the course at the turnaround points.Is there a cut-off time for the races?
A: The 5km has a 1 hour and 15 minute cut-off time, and the Half Marathon has a 4 hour cut-off time. (But don't worry, you will still get your medal and shirt!)When and where is race packet pickup?
A: Race packet pickup will be held at Casino Windsor on Friday, September 12th, and Saturday, September 13th. There will be no race packet pickup on race morning.Am I able to sign up and race both the 5km and the Half Marathon since they start one after another?
A: Yes, you can register for the 5km and then also run the Half Marathon right after. You will need to register for both races.Will there be aid stations during the race?
A: Yes, there will be aid stations roughly every 2 km throughout the course. All aid stations will have water, Gatorade or similar drinks, and gels for the Half Marathon. The 5km course will serve water at the aid stations.Will there be food and refreshments at the finish?
A: Yes, there will be water, bananas, and Gatorade or similar drinks at the finish line. There will also be a selection of food trucks to choose from as alternative options.If I register but cannot do the race, can I transfer my bib?
A: Yes, you can transfer your bib, but there will be a bib transfer fee that you will need to pay.If I register for the Half Marathon but change my mind and later decide I want to run the 5km, or vice versa, can I change races?
A: Yes, you can, but there will be a bib transfer fee that you will need to pay.If something happens and I cannot make the race, or if the weather is bad, can I get a refund?
A: There are no refunds. However, for an additional cost of roughly $9, you can purchase a type of refund insurance through Race Roster during the registration process for this race.
