But seriously, I am more invested than ever in raising funds for cancer research following the recent passing of a school friend from breast cancer. She was only 41, and leaves behind two little girls. 

I would love to see a future where breast cancer isn't a death sentence; where women like Jess could have lived long, happy lives, and her girls could have had their mum around for decades.
