Operation Feed (formerly Operation Feed Saint John) is a local based non-profit organization, fighting to win the war on hunger, while providing support for our local veterans and emergency workers.
Saint John currently has a child poverty rate of 32.4%, one of the highest in New Brunswick & Canada. With the help of volunteers, donors and many of our regions veterans and first responders, Operation Feed is Feeding the bellies of the most vulnerable & the mind, body and soul of Veterans and Emergency Workers.
Operation: RUN FROM HUNGER is a charity run with all proceeds going directly back into our community. The event consists of a 1km kids run, 5km & 10km routes in the beautiful town of Quispamsis, NB. The start finish line for all events is on Pettingill Road near our key race sponsor, Rehab1 Performance Center.

Routes
The kids run is a flat out & back along a packed gravel trail. Spectators can watch their little runners without having to follow them along the route.
The 5km route is an out & back, taking you along Pettingill Road across the train tracks, then turns left on to part of the Quispamsis trail system. The trail has a couple of hills and just past the end of the trail is the turn around point.
The 10km route is a two loop route following the same route as the 5km, on the first loop you turn right on to Longwood Drive, left on to Ritchie Lane, left on to Hughes Cresent, left on to Greenwood Drive, then left on to Pettingill Road and out to the turn around for your second loop (which comes straight back Pettingill Rd to the finish line).
