Hello Limberlost fans and participants! We are so excited to be opening registration for our 2025 event set for Saturday July 5th, 2025.

New for this year! A FREE 1km Kid’s Fun Run!

The Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve is the trail runner’s dream with its challenging terrain that will take you alongside pristine lakes, through a wetland with its tier of beaver dams, up and over some steep inclines and either tiptoeing or splashing through the occasional creek or mud hole.

You will run through technical areas that will require the nimblest of footwork and on trails that allow you to open up to your best speed, plus everything in between. You will marvel at the extraordinary beauty of this privately owned Reserve that we are so privileged to enjoy. It will leave you breathless in more ways than one!

We promise you a well marked course, enthusiastic volunteers and a delicious post-race lunch that you will write home about.

  • The Limberlost Challenge is a cupless event. Please bring your own!
  • 7km loop. 14km too far? Register in our 7km race
  • No T-Shirt "Green" option. Don't need a new t-shirt, choose this option and we will donate the equivalent value to Muskoka Conservancy, a charity supporting Muskoka's natural environment.
