My Story…
When I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 7, I entered a world of constant blood sugar checks, insulin injections, and a lifetime of managing this condition. Living with T1D has taught me resilience, but it’s also made me deeply aware of the need for better treatments and a cure. That’s why I’m running the Cleveland half marathon—to support breakthrough research that could change the lives of millions facing the same daily struggles.
This cause is close to my heart, and each mile I run is a step toward a future where Type 1 diabetes doesn’t define us.
