After finishing my first marathon last spring and fundraising for the Cleveland full, I’m excited to set my sights on a new goal: achieving a personal best in the half marathon. Running for HF&G gives me the opportunity to combine my passion for fitness with a cause close to my heart. I often find myself on runs, thinking about how grateful I am for the world around me—blooming flowers, budding trees, and the peace that nature brings. These moments remind me of the importance of preserving the environment, and I am proud to support HF&G’s mission of "connecting people with the wonder, beauty, and value of trees and plants, to inspire action for healthy communities." This race isn’t just about reaching a new personal record; it’s about using my run to make a positive impact.
