WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
Should you wish to withdraw from the event BEFORE March 1st 2025, we will refund your entry, minus an administration fee ($15-$30 pending distance).
Should you wish to withdraw from the event AFTER March 1st 2025, as per the conditions of entry, we cannot refund your entry.
Why? Many reasons, but mostly because a significant portion of your entry fee will have already been spent on printing bibs, a timing chip, permit inclusions and external contractors etc. IMPORTANT – there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule including if you have a doctor's certificates, a great sob story, etc). Sorry but sunk costs are sunk costs.
WHAT ABOUT FORWARDING MY ENTRY TO A FUTURE EVENT?
No. For the same reason as per above, the money you paid to enter the original event has already been spent on the goods and services (materials, logistics, food, bibs, timing chips) associated with your entry for the event you entered.
WHAT ABOUT…CAN I TRANSFER MY ENTRY TO ANOTHER PERSON?
Yep, we have setup a link on our entry page that will take care of transferring your entry to someone else who will take your entry and convert it into theirs.
WHAT ABOUT… IF I DOWNGRADE TO A LOWER PRICE POINT EVENT, CAN I GET THE DIFFERENCE BACK?
Nup. Same reason as above. The way event logistics work, most money from entry fees is spent well prior to the actual event. We don’t sit on pools of cash laying around just doing nothing ;). It’s all in the accounts of those people and businesses and services we need to pay to ensure the event runs.
