The Tenderfoot Boogie on June 21, 2025 is a beautiful trail run in Whistler, BC with 3 distances: 50K, 26K, or 12K. The 12K and 26K courses have very moderate elevation change as BC trail races go, but the 50K gets very spicy in the second half with some challenging climbs and fun descents. The routes are on a mix of technical and relatively non-technical hiking trails and flowy mountain biking trails. The 12k distance can be approached as a (long) stroll in the woods, but the 26k and 50 are definitely not! You must be physically and mentally prepared to run long distances on trails through the forest. Note, the 50K distance will cross Highway 99 at Function Junction two times, and runners will need to obey traffic signals. The race route does not go along the highway or any paved roads.
There is a $5 donation to WORCA included in every registration to support ongoing trail management.
