Get ready to experience one of Australia’s most breathtaking and vibrant ultra running events — now on a brand new date! 🌿 The LAKES Trail Festival returns to the stunning Myall Lakes region of the Barrington Coast, offering a unique chance to run through pristine forests, along wild beaches, and past shimmering lakes in one of the most naturally beautiful locations in the country.
Set your sights on distances of 100km, 70km, 50km, or 30km, with a 12km course for those looking to dip their toes into trail running, and a 1km kids dash to inspire the next generation. All courses start and finish in Hawks Nest, following existing trails, lake edges, and coastal tracks that showcase the best of this spectacular region.
Mark your calendar — race weekend kicks off Friday 3 October, with racing on Saturday 4 October 2025. It’s the perfect time of year for an epic run: longer days, mild temps, and those iconic clear spring skies. Come run the LAKES. 🏃♀️🌊🌲
