My Story…
Hello! My name is Meredith Lorig, and I’m raising money to run in Twin Cities Marathon/10-mile on October 5th, 2025 for YMCA of the North’s Adventure Team, a cohort of 17+ camps and adventure programs that offer outdoor experiences for all ages, 365 days per year.
As many of you know, I spent many summers as both a camper and on Staff at YMCA Camp Menogyn. My time at camp has and continues to have a positive, lasting impact. Everyone should have the chance to experience a wilderness adventure, so I am running for the YMCA of the North’s Adventure Team.
Y Adventureis fundraising specifically to increase our equity, inclusion and belonging efforts- including but not limited to: scholarships, continued learning experiences for our staff, and more! YAdventure is committed to creating inclusive, accessible spaces that acknowledge shared history and nurture diverse communities.
