Help Andrea raise money

Thanks for finding your way here. 

This profile photo is my finish at the 2024 Twin Cities Marathon. Afterward I kept saying how interesting it was that a peak experience could also have been a trough experience.

I briefly adopted a "no more running races" policy after that marathon, more interested in knocking the ego out of the situation, to the extent I might be capable of such a feat. However, and speaking of traditions of ego-death, I thought there might be a kind of "enlightened self interest" path here: I want to run and work hard, and I also want to feel as though I have made some minuscule effort to alleviate the vast human suffering one will see if one's eyes are open. 

So here comes marathon #2, October 2025, this time on  Team Open Your Heart. OYH is a Minnesota organization working to help the many people here contending with hunger and with housing insecurity. 

I find it heartbreaking that fundraising like this is even a thing we need to do, broadly, as humans. But since we do, I would like to help. If you would like to, as well, then any amount you might consider donating would be deeply appreciated. By me, by this organization, and--most of all--by the folks who will ultimately benefit from your generosity.
