The Wenatchee Marathon - a fast course with something for everyone. Join us in the heart of the Wenatchee Valley during the peak of apple blossom season for an amazing experience. All four races begin and end at the Performing Arts Center right in the middle of Wenatchee's historic downtown.
After a quick start on Wenatchee Avenue, racers make a turn to enter the scenic Apple Capital Loop Trail, and continue for the remainder of their course. The smooth paved trail follows the banks of the Columbia River passing through parks and over bridges spanning the Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers with gorgeous Cascade Mountain views.
Mostly flat with a few rolling hills, the course is fast and flowing creating the possibility of personal best times and making it ideal as a proven Boston qualifier. Walkers are welcome in all four events.
The Wenatchee Marathon is powered by TedDriven, an organization that supports cancer research and local non-profits. Everyone knows someone who has suffered through cancer or have been impacted by cancer, including founders Lynda, Wendy & Ian. As a result, they want to make a difference and are committed to doing their part to fight the disease.
Finishers of all events will be awarded a custom Wenatchee Marathon medal upon crossing the finish line.
TedDriven donates proceeds from the Wenatchee Marathon to the Columbia University Irving Medical Center. This lab is making amazing progress in fighting solid tumors genetically, creating hope in the quest to find a cure. TedDriven also believes in the power of community and both relies on and invests in local non-profits to put on every event. You will enjoy meeting these valued partners who join us to serve you in every aspect of the event.
TedDriven is dedicated to creating premier events that inspire and celebrate the human race. Join us!

There are many great places to watch the Wenatchee Marathon. The start/finish line is a fabulous location. From there, spectators may walk to the riverfront trail and view runners passing on the loop trail. Other options include riding a bike or driving from the starting area to Walla Walla or Confluence Parks. Both parks have lots of green space, playgrounds and will provide wonderful vantage points of passing runners.
On race day, there is a great deal of parking located east of Wenatchee Avenue (toward the Columbia River and behind Arlberg Sports and the Performing Arts Plaza). Please do not park on Wenatchee Avenue as it will be closed at 7:30 AM for the race.
Water, energy drink, and snacks will be provided in the Performing Arts Plaza for race participants only. Please retain your race bib for access to the food and drinks.
There will be a First Aid tent set up at the finish line and an EMT supported ambulance will also be on-hand in case of emergencies.
Mile Markers will be posted on blue and orange signs. Marathon and 10k signs are blue and Half Marathon signs are orange. Wenatchee Avenue and Fifth Street will be closed to traffic. The Loop Trail is open to other users including pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Please stay to the right whenever possible, and respect others on the trail.
We are very fortunate to have a great team of Community Partners ready to make your race experience smooth and memorable. They are the ones who at the Support Stations, the Course Marshall’s and ones the event center/finish line.
Every year, we partner with nearly one dozen local groups who will be using the Wenatchee Marathon as a fundraising event for their organization or cause. In addition, the Wenatchee Marathon and TedDriven remain firmly committed to providing financial support for cutting-edge cancer research.
