Location
Lake Hood is 6km South East of Ashburton.
Turn off State Highway One in Tinwald, onto Grahams Road - Lake Hood is sign posted from here.
Allow 90 minutes from central Christchurch and 60 minutes from Timaru to get to Lake Hood. We recommend that competitors stay overnight in Ashburton the night before the event as anything can happen while driving to the event. By staying overnight, you wil be fresh for the event with not having to drive.
