Kenway and Clark – Super Saturday
The weekend starts with the Kenway and Clark – Super-Saturday events which are designed to be inclusive of all ages and fitness levels. There are three events to choose from;
- Gundy Inferno - 5k or 10K Charity Run
- Firestarter - Super Sprint Triathlon - Ages 12+
- Hell Kids Triathlon - Ages 6-11yrs
TOTAL AG – HELL OF THE WEST
While many long course events come and go there is only one HELL OF THE WEST. An event that is known as Queensland’s toughest triathlon and steeped in Australia’s triathlon history.
- 2km Swim / 80km Bike/ 20km Run
- Teams and Individuals
- Queensland Long course championships
- Race bag including running cap
- Finisher towel (100% cotton)
- Finisher Medal
- Podium prizes and medals
- $17,000 worth of prize money
This iconic long course triathlon event started in 1989 and has been a bucket list event for weekend warriors and world level triathletes ever since.
AusTriathlon Qld State Series Competitors
- When racing HOTW, to be included in AusTriathlon Qld State Series you must be a Standard or Premium member
- Age Groups are the same as above
- HOTW is AusTriathlon Qld Long Course Championship event and Gold, Silver and Bronze will be awarded to eligible competitors
- HOTW being a Championship Race, eligible competitors in placing top 10 in their Age Group receive double points
