WRRC SD25 Virtual Half Marathon Experience
Registrants for the Virtual Half Marathon pay a registration fee and receive a World Championships San Diego 25 bib number, ASICS runner shirt and a commemorative World Championships San Diego 25 medal.
Final designs of the runner shirts, finisher medals and bib numbers will be revealed in early 2025.

Everything at Mission Trails Regional Park is free and it is just 12 miles from downtown San Diego. At 5,800 acres, it is the largest urban open space park west of the Mississippi. The park features 40 miles of spectacular trails for your walking, hiking, mountain biking, birding, and rock climbing. Explore and enjoy the park's 14,575-square-foot Visitor and Interpretive Center, two lakes, a scenic stretch of the San Diego River, and the Old Mission Dam, a California State Historical Landmark - built by the Kumeyaay Indians circa 1816. Climb Cowles Mountain, whose summit at 1,592 feet is the highest geographical point in the City of San Diego. It offers a panoramic view of San Diego clear to the ocean. Coronado's coastline offers wide sandy beaches with sparkling sand, courtesy of the mineral Mica, that draw visitors from around the world. Point Loma is home to the Cabrillo National Monument commemorating the landing of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, who sailed his ship the San Salvador in to San Diego Bay in 1542, to become the first European to set foot in California. Contemplate his remarkable journey as you stand next to the statue of Cabrillo and enjoy sweeping views of the bay and downtown San Diego skyline. Visit the Old Point Loma Lighthouse and discover some of the best tide pooling in San Diego, when low tide reveals flowery anemones, crabs, mollusks and a myriad of other sea creatures inhabiting the reef. Point Loma is also home to the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, a solemn memorial for those who have served our country and a tranquil setting for reflection. Grab some Point Loma Seafood while you're in the area and checkout the San Diego Bay views.
