Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is a traffic-controlled, fully supported, mass-participation cycling event in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. Experience world-class cycling routes and breathtaking scenery.
Riders of all fitness levels can take part in the ride by choosing one of eight distances.
All rides start and finish in the iconic inner harbour of Victoria at the BC Legislative Buildings.

Deferrals from 2024
If you deferred your 2024 entry to 2025, you should have received an email in March 2025 with the promo code to use for your registration. Please ensure that you are registering using that code. If you did not receive this email, please contact support@tourdevictoria.com.
If you are unable to use your deferral code from 2024, we are unable to extend your deferral to 2026.
Event Cancellation Policy
If circumstances require that the entire or a portion of the event is canceled or changed for reasons such as but not limited to extreme weather, fire, poor air quality, landslide, revoked permits, protest, demonstrations, accidents, terrorist incidents, health emergencies or health decries, etc., no refunds will be issued.
Transfers, Refunds and Deferrals
All registrations are non-refundable. There are no exceptions.
Deferral policy
Participants can defer their 2025 entry to the following year only (2026 Tour de Victoria) in the event of an injury. It is important to note that this policy is only in effect until July 13, 2025, at 11:59 am (PST), and ALL deferrals must be made before that date. The cost for deferring an entry is $75 + tax and processing fees. This fee is paid when registering next year. Promo codes will be sent out in early spring 2026. Please note that the deferral is only for the registered participant’s use.

Transfer policy
Participants can transfer their registration to another rider for the same year. It is important to note that this policy is only in effect until August 18, 2025, at 11:59 am (PST), and ALL transfers must be made before that date. The cost for transferring an entry is $15 + tax and processing fees.
Please note if you used a deferral code to register for 2025, there is no transferring to another rider.

Youth Riders
Youth Discounts
In support of youth cycling development, we are pleased to offer subsidized registration for all riders age 18 & under for all distances.
$30 for the 15km, 30km & 45km rides
$50 for the 60km, 100km, 140km & 160km rides
Capital Bike Kids Ride is free!
Pricing will be adjusted during registration, and you'll be required to answer additional questions during registration. This excludes kid's ride, which is free!
Youth riders can choose the distance of their choice, but must abide by the following:
160km:
- Pre-approval form is required for riders 18 and under. Fill & sign, send it to support@tourdevictoria.com if you are 18 or under and wish to ride the 160km.
140km, 100km, 80km, 60km:
- Riders age 16 and older may ride unsupervised
- Riders age 15 and under must ride with an adult supervisor at all times
45km, 30km, 15km:
- Riders age 13 and older may ride unsupervised
- Riders age 12 and under must ride with an adult supervisor at all times.

Distance Changes
Distance Changes
- For info on how to change your distance (transfers to another sub-event), please click here.
- When changing distance, you will be charged any difference in price based on the date you registered.
- There are no refunds on price difference when changing to a shorter distance.
- There is a $15 processing fee applied for all distance changes
- Distance changes can be made online before August 8, 2025. After which, all changes must be made at Rider Check-In.
- If you bought any merchandise, please make sure to select it when transferring to another distance so that it shows in your new registration.

Capital Bike Kids Ride - 6.5k
Capital Bike Kids Ride - 6.5km A ride for kids who are confident, competent cyclists and ready to challenge themselves. This ride features the Terry Fox monument on Dallas Road as the turnaround point. The young riders will be able to ride this at their own pace. There will be ride ambassadors riding with the young riders. After the turnaround point, the riders will be embedded in the main ride with all of the other Tour de Victoria riders for the final 3km. It will be a great way to introduce these young riders to the concept of riding with others on the roads.

Capital Bike Kids Ride - 3km This ride is designed for young riders on pedal bikes. There will be ride ambassadors ride as a chaperoned group to the halfway point turnaround. We will regroup at the turnaround point, and ride back together as a chaperoned group to the finish line.
