We look forward to welcoming competitive and recreational runners and walkers alike for our 3rd annual Stouffville Main Street 5K and 1K Kids Dash benefitting the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.
7:30am - Runners Village Opens
8:00am - Opening Remarks
8:30am - Main Street 5K Starts
9:30am - Kids 1K Dash Starts
*NEW for 2025 our Main Street 5K participants will start in waves. Event Timing start and finishes only when the participant crosses the start/finish line.
During registration you will be asked to select your anticipated 5K completion time:
🔴 Red: 25 mins or less (Competitive)
🟡 Yellow: 25-35 mins (Casual)
🔵 Blue: 35-45 mins (Joggers)
🟢 Green: 45+ mins (Walkers)
Runners, walkers, and strollers allowed. Please no bicycles, rollerblades or scooters. Dogs are welcome in the runner's village only, however please keep them on the leash and off the course.
FUNDRAISING
While fundraising is not mandatory, it is certainly encouraged and the suggested fundraising minimum is $100 per adult and $50 per child. While your registration fee for the event helps to cover the various event costs from road closures to post-race nourishment and logistics staff, any fundraising dollars go directly to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Donations over $20 will receive a charitable tax receipt from the Foundation.

Walk/Run/Stroll across Main Street in support of Markham Stouffville Hospital! All participants young and old must have a registered number bib. If you would like to participate in both the Main St 5K and the Kids 1K Dash, please ensure you have registered for both in advance. Pricing includes the race cost + processing fee, but does not include taxes.

Countdown to event
After having registered, if you are unable to participate in the event for whatever unforeseeable reason, there will unfortunately be no refund. However, your registration fee can be transferred to a donation to the Markham-Stouffville Hospital Foundation, and a tax receipt will be issued in your name. Deferments will also not be facilitated.
Registration Transfers: Transfers will be possible to another individual. Please e-mail us to indicate you wish to transfer your bib to another person. The receiving person's profile information must be received to process the transfer. A small processing fee will be charged.
