Race Day - Saturday, April 26, 2025
Volunteers are truly the heartbeat of our races, providing essential assistance and support to ensure the success of our events. Without their unwavering dedication and tireless support, our races simply would not be possible. Join us in this important and rewarding role, and make a meaningful and lasting difference in your community!
All final assignments will be given on site. Please be flexible as we need to fill all assignments to have a great event. Every person needs to sign up individually. If you have a group please sign up all separately for an accurate count.
** Volunteers must stay for their entire shift to qualify for perks such as future race registrations, service hours and more.
Volunteer - Roles & Responsibilities
Packet Pick Up Shifts
Volunteers will greet participants and provide them with their bib, race t-shirt & information about race weekend. This role requires that you use a computer that will be provided to you. Various shift times are available. You can select more than one shift.
Set Up & Tear Down Team
This role will help with the set up & tear down of the event on race day. Please arrive at 4:30AM at Trinity Groves.
Registration Volunteer
Registration Volunteers are responsible for checking the runners in and distributing swag items before the race begins. They will arrive early at the venue and possibly be reassigned to another station after the race begins. Please arrive at 5:30AM at Trinity Groves.
Venue Volunteer
Venue Volunteers are placed at the start line, finish line, and throughout the venue to help distribute medals, water, food, etc. Please arrive by 4:30AM at Trinity Groves.
Course Monitor
This role requires the use of a vehicle. Volunteers that are strategically placed along the race route to direct and cheer on athletes at specific intersections/locations. Volunteers may also have to redirect any traffic that approaches the race route. Please arrive at 6:15AM at Trinity Groves.
Water Stop
Volunteers are strategically placed along the race route to set-up, serve and tear down water stations. Supplies will be provided by the race staff. Please arrive at 5:45AM. You will receive your dedicated water station location on race morning.
