Welcome to the Beachside Blitz - 1km/500m, where the race is as fast as the ocean breeze and the community spirit is as bright as the morning sun! This fun and friendly event is for all ages—whether you're a seasoned sprinter, a casual runner, or someone just looking to have a good time with family and friends. The course runs along the stunning Ambleside Beach, offering the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement. It’s a race, a challenge, and a whole lot of fun packed into one breezy morning.

Whether you’re racing for bragging rights, chasing that PR, or just taking it easy with the kids, the Beachside Blitz is where the community comes to move, laugh, and make some memories. And yes, we’ve got chip timing—because we know some of you are eyeing that top spot.

Race Course Details:

1km Race Start: At the far end of the Ambleside Spirit Trail, near the railway bridge
500m Race Start: Near the Pitch n’ Putt
Finish Line: Just before the pedestrian crossing near 13th and Ambleside Park
