Welcome to the legendary and historic American River 50 Mile Endurance Run, one of the oldest and most revered ultra races in the country. For decades, this race has tested the strength, endurance, and spirit of runners as they tackle a breathtaking journey from the heart of Sacramento to the rugged trails of Auburn, following the beautiful American River Parkway and offering iconic views of Northern California. If you're not quite ready for the full 50 miles, the American River 25 Mile and 10 Mile distances offer a fantastic way to experience the race's unique atmosphere and scenic routes. Both shorter distances provide a rewarding challenge while allowing runners to enjoy the same stunning landscapes and supportive trail community that make the American River races so special. Whether you're aiming for a new distance or looking for an introduction to endurance running, these races deliver the perfect balance of excitement, beauty, and camaraderie.

Cancellation Policy
Per the running industry policy, all entry fees are non-refundable & entries are non-transferable. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else, and you may not transfer your 2024 entry fee to a future race. This policy applies to all entrants and is in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected family/business emergency, have a medical emergency, etc. If the course has to be changed or the race is cancelled due to an act of nature there are no refunds or rollovers. There are NO exceptions.
That being said, we are excited to provide access to the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program. For a small additional fee, you can register with peace of mind that if you cannot make it to race day, your experience is covered. Should you need to make a claim, Race Roster and Protecht can guide you through the process and provide a refund on your race fee. If you have questions regarding this program, please reach out to support@raceroster.com.
