Atira Women’s Resource Society is a not-for-profit organization committed to ending violence against women, as well as those who identify as femme or non-binary.
Join us to run for a cause and support Atira Women's Resource Society. Atira offers over 70 programs, including housing, counseling, outreach, legal advocacy, and self-employment training, aiding women, children, trans, and non-binary individuals impacted by violence in the Lower Mainland. With 28 housing programs across Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby, and Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, Atira provides over 1,500 beds, offering both temporary and permanent housing solutions. Your fundraising efforts directly sustains Atira initiatives, ensuring support of the women and children we serve as well as forwarding our commitment to ending violence against womxn.
