Megaphone is committed to reshaping societal perceptions of poverty and creating opportunities for those with barriers to the larger community to participate in self-determined creative self-expression and meaningful work.
At our heart, the Vendor Program addresses the lack of accessible income earning opportunities for people with barriers to traditional employment. We do this by producing literary and journalistic publications and training 150+ people experiencing poverty in Vancouver to sell those products for an income.
