Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV)

Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending Veteran homelessness in Minnesota.

Founded in 1990, MACV is a national leader in engaging and empowering Veterans experiencing or facing homelessness throughout Minnesota. We pursue our work with a vision that every Veteran has access to the services and support needed to avoid homelessness and achieve housing stability. Our team offers outreach, case management, financial assistance, legal services, and employment assistance, in addition to a growing number of supportive housing properties throughout Minnesota.

Minnesota is succeeding in the fight against Veteran homelessness, but more than 300 Veterans still have no place to call home tonight. These individuals sleep in shelters, churches, cars, garages, or tents in every corner of our state. In 2022, MACV provided targeted services to over 1,700 Veterans affected by housing instability.
