My Story…
I am running in memory of Gordon Ernest Pratt, my father's cousin, who served in the RCAF as a Pilot Officer. He went missing in action in a Wellington bomber on October 4, 1944 on a mission over the North Sea. His name and the names of his fellow crew members are inscribed on the RCAF memorial in Runnymede, United Kingdom. He was 23 years old.
