In my late teens and early 20s, I spent three years in the U.S. military and, thankfully, was never deployed into active combat. Many veterans and active-duty personnel can't say the same—and that’s why I’m taking part in the 2025 Canada Army Run.

I'm raising money for those who are struggling—physically or emotionally—because of experiences I was fortunate enough to avoid. The Army Run isn’t just a race; it’s a chance to stand with the men and women who’ve served and sacrificed. The funds raised go to support programs that help veterans and their families deal with the lasting effects of service, including injury, trauma, and the challenges of transitioning back to civilian life.
