STEVESTON ICEBREAKER
Visit beautiful Steveston and start your year off with a scenic, flat and fast run along Richmond's waterfront. The annual Steveston Icebreaker is a family-friendly 8KM run/walk, as well as 2.5KM or 1KM kids' runs. Participants can enjoy with awards, refreshments, food, prizes and more!
The Icebreaker event will be subject to Provincial Health Orders and the City of Richmond's permit approvals at the time of the race.
Icebreaker 8K registration includes:
- Certified Course
- Chipped time
- Personalized race bib
- Icebreaker finisher medal
- $25 gift card to New Balance (minimum $75 spend)
- Post-race snacks and drinks
- Blonyx samples and discounts
- Entries into AWESOME draw prizes
- Results, photos, leaderboard, and more stuff are in the works!
Kidsrun registration includes:
- Personalized race bib
- 2.5km chipped time (1km no timing)
- $25 gift card to New Balance (minimum $75 spend)
- KidSport buddy band

The 2.5km (CHIP TIMED) Kidsrun run/walk is for children ONLY ages 5-13 years. All proceeds from the Kidsrun go directly to KidSport Richmond. NO PARENTS ON COURSE.

The New Balance Kidsrun 1km run/walk is for children ages 0-6 years. Parents/caregivers can run alongside their children at no additional cost. All proceeds from the Kidsrun go directly to KidSport Richmond.

Fee and Cancellation Policy
1. Online registration will close at 11:59pm on January 5, 2025.
2. There is an online processing FEE applied to all registrations.
3. VISA, MC, Amex, and Discover Card are accepted.
4. All funds payable in Canadian Currency.
5. The charge for the Icebreaker and/or Kidsrun will appear on your credit card statement from Race Roster as "ICEBREAKER 8K".
6. All promotional codes expire on January 5, 2025, and will no longer be valid.
7. If the race is cancelled due to a force majeure, extreme weather, or something out of our control, there is no cash refund. Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
8. Race transfers are permitted until 11:59pm on January 5, 2025, but there is a $10 transfer fee per transfer.
