My Story…
This April 6 I will be running the Goldy's 10 mile run. This race helps raise money for M Fairview's Masonic Children's Hospital. Coincidentally, I have the opportunity to see the work they do first hand, through my career field of cardiac sonography. In my final semester of school, I have a pediatric shadowing experience at this location.
The culmination of my final semester will also be the same weekend of this race, and I will present on a cardiac pathology to an audience of my peers and cardiologists at Minneapolis Heart Institution. If not for the great impact it will make on the families of patients, please consider donating to this fundraiser as a sort of celebratory congratulations to me on finishing school and starting working in my field! Any financial support will go to changing the lives of pediatric patients with heart disease.
