Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race

Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race is Vietnam's leading professional marathon which is held annually in November in Hanoi, the capital of the fastest-growing, most beautiful and peaceful country in Southeast Asia.
The marathon has been accredited by the World Athletics, officially certified by Grade A Measurers of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and affiliated with the Vietnam Athletics Federation (VAF). The race has become an AIMS official member since 2019.
Nearly 20,000 runners who joined the race in 2024 ran to discover the peaceful, charming, and historic city with 11 heritages and landmarks.
The cooperation between Standard Chartered and DHA Vietnam brings new breakthroughs with outstanding developments for the Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race. This is the 10th marathon in the world-famous Standard Chartered Marathon system with the goal of honoring perseverance, solidarity, efforts to break the limits and applying international standards.

- For Runners:
- QR Code
- Original Citizen Identification Card (CCCD) / Passport or CCCD in the VNeID application
- Printed hard copy of the Waiver Form signed by the legal guardian for runners under 16
- For Authorized Recipients:
- Authorized online by the runner
- QR Code
- Original Citizen Identification Card (CCCD) / Passport or CCCD in the VNeID application of the authorized person
- Photocopy/photo of the CCCD/Passport of the authorizing runner
- Additional Documents Required for Runners Under 16:
- Photocopy/photo of the runner’s birth certificate
- Printed hard copy of the Waiver Form signed by the legal guardian
- Photocopy/photo of the legal guardian’s CCCD
- Photocopy/photo of the guardianship certification (if the guardian is not the runner’s parent)
Race Kit Collection Notes
Runners must keep their QR code confidential and only share it with an authorized representative if needed.
If a runner does not receive the confirmation email with the QR code and waiver form, please contact the event organizers at: phone (+84) 06 207 4489, or email: hanoi.marathon@dhavietnam.vn or fanpage.
Runners must check their Race Kit upon receipt. Once they leave the collection area, the organizers will not accept any exchanges or returns for any item in the Race Kit.
Terms and Conditions
The race regulations outline the rules, rights, and responsibilities of participants to ensure fairness, safety, and transparency.
The regulations include conditions for registration, athlete classification, race rules, time limits, and penalties for rule violations. The document also details the organizer’s responsibilities in supporting participants and handling any issues during the event.
Runners must comply fully with the regulations to contribute to a professional and successful race.
Personal Data Protection Policy
The organizers commit to protecting participants’ personal data in accordance with applicable laws. The collected information is solely used for event organization and will not be shared with third parties without consent, the highest security measures are applied to prevent unauthorized access to personal data.
Payment Instructions
Participants can pay via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or JCB through the Onepay gateway
Bank transfers can be made using a system-generated QR code at checkout. The system will generate a transaction reference number to confirm the runner’s registration automatically.
BIB Delivery Policy
Once payment is successfully completed, the system will generate a BIB number and send it along with the registration confirmation and payment receipt to the runner’s registered email. Runners can change their BIB number via the BIB change service, subject to the designated fee.
If runners do not receive their BIB due to network issues, they should notify the organizers via: email hanoimarathon@dhavietnam.vn, or hotline +84 96 207 4489, we will support as soon as possible.
All foreign runners are responsible for the purpose of visiting Vietnam, including participating in the marathon, during their visa application and immigration.
According to the security regulation and policies from the Hanoi provincial authority for any international events, foreigners are required to share accommodation information during their stay in Hanoi with the OC. If runners don’t choose the official hotels, please inform the OC of the hotel address at least three weeks before the Race Day.
The OC disclaims all responsibilities if runners fail to provide their hotel information in Hanoi.
