My Story…
In 2022, my aunt was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. True to who she was her whole life, I watched her face every hurdle with a strength, resilience, and hope that continues to inspire me everyday. My aunt and I shared a deep love for the outdoors. She was always the first to say “yes” to any crazy adventure, and I have the fondest memories hiking and cycling around Canada together.
She passed away in 2024, but the warmth, generosity, and kindness she brought into the world continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
For me, this race is more than just 42.2km. I am running to honour her and the impact she left on this world, and I hope to carry her spirit with me in every step along the way.
