My Story…
Why I’m Running—and Why It Matters
Mental health isn't a luxury — it's foundational to living a full, meaningful life. Just like physical health, it deserves attention, support, and care.
Last year, my friends and I challenged ourselves to run a half-marathon—and thanks to your support, we were able to raise funds for a cause that truly matters. This year, I’m doubling that challenge: a full marathon. Twice the distance, twice the effort, and hopefully, twice the impact.
Hong Fook Mental Health Foundation works tirelessly to provide mental health resources, support services, and community programs for those who are struggling—especially in communities where mental health is still heavily stigmatized and under-supported. Mental health affects us all—whether directly or through someone we care about. I’ve seen how important it is to have access to help, hope, and healing. That’s why I’m lacing up my shoes and pushing myself further this year.
Every step we take is for someone who’s fighting a silent battle. Every dollar you donate brings us closer to a world where no one faces those battles alone.
Please consider supporting my run. Your donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
Thank you for standing with me—and with those who need our help the most.
With gratitude,
Aijun Zhang
