Home is not safe for everyone. Help raise funds to empower women and children to move beyond violence!
Description
Since 1978, Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region (WCSWR) has continued to empower and support women and children to move beyond violence by providing safe shelter, outreach services, prevention and education.
WCSWR operates two emergency shelters in Kitchener and Cambridge for women and children experiencing domestic violence and one transitional house. With a menu of programs and services, from Music Therapy to Youth Education, we are committed to creating a future free from violence.
We also offer a free, confidential outreach program for women who are experiencing domestic violence but do not require emergency shelter.
With your help, we support over 1,500 women and children every year in healing from violence and building a safer future.
Every dollar makes a difference in providing crucial services and programs to empower women and children moving beyond violence. Give today to help us raise much-needed funds for those who need it most.
