This year there are DRAWS!!!!!!
ALL REGISTERED Hiker names will go into a draw for the following:
Draw #1 - Canvas Print of the Maitland Trail. Winner to pickup on the weekend of the El Camino Maitland
Draw #2 - Take a selfie while hiking the El Camino and we will have it made into a canvas print and shipped directly to you
Parking
Once again FREE parking on Saturday and Sunday at the Benmiller Community Hall in Benmiller.
Route change this year (disclaimer)
Due to the Menesetung Bridge being closed for repair, the El Camino Maitland will not be able to finish at the Goderich beach. Not to worry, instead of Benmiller to Goderich the route has been reversed Goderich to Benmiller for Sunday. Same distance, hikers will be shuttled from Benmiller to a designated area by the Menesetung Bridge and hike the Maitland Trail to Benmiller.
Registration Limit
300 will be the cut off for registration. Once the event is closed, you can add your name to a waiting list by emailing your name to camino@maitlandtrail.ca.
On August 1st, 2025 an email blast will go out to the waiting list with availability and it will be first come first served for registering
REGISTRATION DETAILS (important)
* After JULY 31st, NO REFUNDS will be issued. After this date, refunds will be issued in the form of a Income Tax Receipt as a DONATION.
** Children 17 & under on September 20th, 2025 hike for FREE.
*** Under no circumstances will hikers be allowed to start longest hike after 8:30 am on Sat. or Sun.
**** Please print your registration form and bring it with you.
