The event benefits Pacific Beach Middle School and Mission Bay High School through the joint parent-teacher organization, Friends of Pacific Beach Secondary Schools (FOPBSS).

Friends of Pacific Beach Secondary Schools (FOPBSS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation benefiting Pacific Beach Middle School and Mission Bay High School (ID#33-0305920). FOPBSS is also know as “Mission Bay High School Community Foundation.
