Save the Drama for your Llama 8k Road Run

New park for a Crazy Legs Race Series event Luhr County Park Laporte, IN at the Morgan Shelter

All runners will receive a Llama hat

-Course will be marked with flags and signs. PLEASE pay attention to the course marking NOT the runner in front of you. You will be running THREE LOOPS of course to get the 8k distance.

-We are doing old school timing for this race. Once you complete the race you will receive a popsicle stick with a number on it. Please turn that stick into the building where you got your packet ASAP.

-Awards for overall female/male and age group awards will be presented after everyone is completed with the race.

-Items from my other races will be for sale for $5 including t-shirts, hats, and coffee cups

-Bagel bar will be waiting for you after the race. You will have various items to top your bagel. I will have a toaster if you would like to toast your bagel.

The purpose Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS) is to promote non-pavement/pavement races in the Northwest Indiana region through the development and management of new and existing races. At all our events you will experience fun and challenging course design in a low-key atmosphere. Races will be held in parks or areas in the Lake, Porter and Laporte counties.

The Crazy Legs Race Series welcomes and encourages participation in our events by all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression. Transgender runners may register as the gender they identify with and there is no documentation needed.

The Crazy Legs Race Series would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we host our races is the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations. Refugees from other nations also resided in the area we use, including the Lenape (Delaware). We honor those who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
