My Story

My name is Cole, I run a contracting business in Oakville. My running journey started just over a year ago with my first 5k race, I couldn’t even run the whole thing but got hooked. Last fall I did my first half marathon in Lisbon. My misogi for this year was running a half Ironman up here in muskoka in 7 hours or less l, I finished in 7:15 so I’ve still got more to prove to myself. Felt great by the end of it and my next challenge is running this marathon in under 4 hours, going to be a challenge considering my fastest half marathon was 2:04 but with consistent training I know it’s not going to be easy but possible. I’ll be asking friends family and clients if they’d like to donate to our cause.

For over 40 years Campfire Circle has provided play-based experiences through our in-hospital, community, and overnight camps for kids with cancer or serious illness and their families. We empower kids to take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis.

Now, more than ever, kids with serious illness and their families need moments of joy, connection, and healing.
