Port to Park Open Water Swim

The Port to Park Open Water Swim is run by the South Melbourne Life Saving Club.
Registrations: where you collect your cap, timing band, tee (if purchased) and Bag drop is at the South Melbourne Life Saving Club.
You cannot start the event unless your have collected your cap and timing band.
Pre entry registrations will be open until Wednesday 29 January 2025.
Entry on the day will be available onsite from 7.00am.
The events on offer are:
Swims
250m Kids Splash - 7 to 12 years old
500m Dash & Family Friendly - 10 years through 70+ - The Family can all swim together! (Up to 4)
1.1km Swim - All age groups from 12 years through to 70+
2.2km Swim - Female and Male categories only
All kids who finish the Kids Splash will receive a medal.
Price - Pre entry
$30 - 250m Splash
$35 - 500m Dash
$105 - 500 Family Friendly - up to 4 members of the same Family
$40 - 1.1km Swim
$50 - 2.2km Swim
$75 for both 1.1km & 2.2km
$40 for a Port to Park tee
On the day
$40 - 250m Splash
$45 - 500m Dash
$135 - 500 Family Friendly - up to 4 members of the same Family
$50 - 1.1km Swim
$60 - 2.2km Swim
$95 for both 1.1km & 2.2km
$50 for a Port to park tee (it will be posted to you).
Registration
Registration will open at 7.00am
On the day registration closing times:
Registration closes at 8.00am for the 250m and 500m Swims
Registration closes at 8.30am for the 1.1km Swim
Registration closes at 10.00am for the 2.2km Swim
All participants who have not collected their cap/timing band will not be able to swim.

500 Meter Family Friendly
For this event we are offering the option for a family to swim together. This can include eg: 1 adult and 3 children or 2 adults and 2 children. All registrations for the family must be completed in one transaction. The Family Friendly option is only available for the 500M Dash.

Getting to South Melbourne Beach
Driving - Limited metered parking is available on Beaconsfield Parade.
The #1 tram (South Melbourne Beach) is an option for those who do not wish to drive and the tram stop is approx 200m from the registration point.
