The Canada Goose Ultra is a self supported and timed event that welcomes everyone looking to expand past that 3 - 6 hour comfort zone of running distances.
New ultra runners and seasoned runners are welcome to push their personal limits and see what they can complete in 6, 12 and 24 hour time frames around a 4 km loop of a lake.
-Choose the 6 hour event for a no-pressure introduction to ultra running.
-Choose the 12 hour event if you have a distance goal or have never pushed that time on your feet before.
-Choose the 24 hour event for runners trying their own personal limits. All finishers earn a custom medal. If you beat your own personal longest distance in a race, you win a custom swag item. If you complete at least 100 km, you'll earn a belt buckle!
All events are run on a certified 4 km loop and have a short finishing out-and-back section of 1km.
The course is a flat, paved route through a beautiful urban park.

FAQ
Will I still receive a medal if I run less than 6 hours?
Yes, as long as you complete one 4km loop you will receive a medal.
Will there be an aid station?
There will be onsite medics and a table of food at the start finish area. If you have specific food needs, please plan to be self-sufficient. Ideally most ultra runners at this event will have their own cooler, back of their vehicle/hatch loaded up and ready for their individual nutrition and recovery needs throughout the event.
It's my first time running this event, what else should I bring?
Bring a comfy chair, specify nutrition or hydration if you have been training with specific things. Bring sunscreen, jackets and rain gear just incase of any changing weather throughout the weekend. Also bring extra battery chargers for phones or watches as we will not have public use power on site.
