My Story…
In Australia, one person is diagnosed with diabetes every five minutes....and I'm doing my small bit to help.
On Sunday 21st of September, I've joined the team at Diabetes Australia to run a Half Marathon - it's called the Toohey Trail Run. All proceeds will go to a good cause, one that's close to my heart, which is to raise money for those living with diabetes, and for those at risk of being diagnosed.
Help support me (and my tired legs!) by donating a few dollars to make a difference for an important cause. I'll run the hard yards and the very steep hills, and all you just need to make a small donation that will make a big difference.
Description
I’m running the 2025 Toohey Trail Run in support of Diabetes Australia.
Diabetes affects everyday Australians every day.
Did you know that a healthy blood glucose level before a meal is 5mmol/L? That makes 5 a pretty special number for people living with diabetes to remember...
My challenge, along with running the Toohey Trail, is to get as many donations as I can to reach my goal!
Please support me on my run and Diabetes Australia. Every donation, either big or small, makes all the difference.
Together, let’s show the 1.5 million people living with diabetes in Australia that we are here for them.
